Portfolio Element 1 Sonic Actor/Actress
I was doing a workshop in shanghai on how to design an automata bird with 3D printer. (inspired by the fact that puyi was triggered by the green insect when he was young) Honestly, mine is very awkward and cant really fly much… (Because I put one of the wings in a wrong direction) Mentored by Shao Hua An, who is a toy engineer, the green bird survived in the end… I was building up my network with him and we were currently designing and making the last wood robotic toy together…
Another experiment is 3d printing robotic arms (there are a lot of open source templates) and using Arduino to code it with the right tempo to the music. I am assuming if he is the conductor of the whole show… The outcome is in the synchronisation post.
I am also making some lovely wood toys at the same time…
