Portfolio WEEK10 Trevor Mathison

Trevor Mathison is an organizer individual from Dark Sound Film Aggregate, the honor winning narrative film bunch (Handsworth Melodies, The Walk). He shaped Dubmorphology with Gary Stewart in 2005.

Culture pundit Kodwo Eshun has hailed Mathison’s spearheading utilization of tape circles for their capacity to make “the royal nerves of the mid 20th century reverberate… with the various feelings of trepidation of the present.”

Ashley Clarke, film columnist in his article ‘A Radial Power: the attractive hints of Trevor Mathison’ for Sight and Sound magazine states: ” His multifaceted work integrates components of name and musique concrète”

I liked his work Taliesin, it is quiet and clean, but at the same time, the textures were panned so well so it was nice to listen to, and it gave the track a special touch by giving these glitches and shimmering sounds.
